Thats freaking good!!!
I Love everything about this podcast. The relaxed way, no editing, the playing, the unplanned talking. It makes me feel good. Would love to have a friend like you. Please, keep doing it just the way it is.
Awwww. Made my day. Thank
You
Keep noodling Rob! 👏
Lovely hearing you play that tele. There’s a really nice warmth to it yet it’s clear.
I find studying stuff that's a bit outside my wheelhouse to be the best way to break out of the playing fatigue. Species counterpoint, Barry Harris theory, Julian Lage's playing, and listening and playing along with non guitar music. Some time off is always useful as well. Let the music juice reserves build back up for a couple days.
Same with me. I watch your video and it kicks me in the back to start playing. Good job, Rob, keep it going! :)
Tasty noodles, this Telecaster sounds awesome.
Tom Bukovak (Uncle Larry) is worth a watch. Also Andy Wood. Corey Wong. Mark Lettieri.
I’m constantly watching those guys already but thanks anyway.
Hey Rob, checking in with you, glad to hear the drinking is going well, great work sir. I agree about the no pedal usage and just engage with the instrument . Have you any funky outside playing tips?
As requested, letting you know I watch on YT - didn't realise you put it up on Apple as a podcast - but can't see the visuals there...? Still hoping to see you show the preset(s) you use on a QC - presumably from what you say about not using many effects it's not a very complicated one..?You may not think you have much to say but I always find value in the podcasts I've watched so perhaps you have more to say than you realise!? regards, Neil
I'm going to buy a bass guitar and amp
go for it
Love the kings song in Hamilton
the tele sound country to me,the strato is best for funk.
If in doubt listen to music
